The HYG-5kVA/50kV control box (platform) is designed and manufactured according to the unique usage range of the high voltage test transformer. Its functions are as follows:

B. Timing sound and light alarm;
C. Electronic low voltage current protection (box type);
D. Direct reading of high voltage voltage;
E. Pressure test time is set freely (digital display);

Capacity selection of test transformer:

Vn - Valid Value of Rated Output High Voltage of Test Transformer (kV)
K - Safety factor. When the nominal voltage Vn is greater than 1MV, k = 2; when the nominal voltage is lower, K value may be higher.
Ct - Capacitance of Subject (pF)
_ - angular frequency, _ = 2 pi f, F - frequency of test power supply
The capacitance CT of the tested equipment can be measured by AC bridge. CT varies greatly, depending on the type of equipment. Typical data are as follows:

Technical parameters, specifications and selection of control box:
The capacity of the control box is nominated as the capacity of the voltage regulator and the voltage regulator. If it works with the test transformer (working system within 30 minutes in a short time), it can be matched according to the provisions of the power industry standard of the People's Republic of China "DL474.4-92": P=0.75P. P-test transformer capacity and P-regulator capacity. If it is used for batch test of electrical equipment factory products, the capacity of voltage regulator should be equal to the capacity of test transformer, that is, P0=P.

HYG-5kVA/50kV light high voltage test transformer adopts single frame core structure. The primary winding is on the core and the high-voltage winding is outside. This coaxial arrangement reduces the flux leakage and increases the coupling between windings. The shell of the product is made with an octagonal structure which matches the core well, and the overall shape is beautiful and generous.
HYG-5kVA/50kV series control box is composed of contact voltage regulator (more than 50kVA is electric column voltage regulator) and its control, protection, measurement and signal circuit. It adjusts the voltage regulator (i.e. the input voltage of the test transformer) by connecting 220V or 380V power frequency power supply to obtain the required test high voltage voltage value.
