        HYG-0.1HZ Ultra-Low Frequency High Voltage Generator combines the advanced technology of modern digital frequency conversion. It is controlled by a computer and fully automated in boosting, lowering, measuring and protecting. Because of all-electronic, so small size, light weight, large screen LCD display, clear and intuitive, and can display the output waveform, print test reports. The design indicators fully meet the "General Technical Conditions for Special Testing Instruments for Electric Power Equipment, Part 4: General Technical Conditions for Ultra-Low Frequency and High Voltage Generators" power industry standards and are very convenient to use.

        Ultra-low frequency insulation withstand voltage test is actually an alternative method of power frequency withstand voltage test. We know that in the power frequency withstand voltage test of large generators, cables and other test products, because their insulating layer presents large capacitance, it needs a large capacity test transformer or resonant transformer. Such huge equipment is not only bulky and expensive, but also inconvenient to use. In order to solve this contradiction, the electric power department has adopted reducing the test frequency, thus reducing the capacity of the test power supply. From the theory and practice of many years at home and abroad, it has been proved that substituting 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency withstand voltage test for power frequency withstand voltage test can not only achieve the same equivalence, but also reduce the volume and weight of the equipment greatly. In theory, the capacity is about one-fifth of the power frequency, and the operation is simple. Compared with power frequency test, it has more advantages. That is why this approach is widely adopted in developed countries. The National Development and Reform Commission has formulated the industry standard of Ultra-Low Frequency (0.1Hz) Voltage Resistance Test Method for XLPE Insulated Power Cables 35 kV and below. This method is being popularized in our country. The instrument is developed according to the need of our country. It can be widely used in AC withstand voltage test of cable and large high voltage rotary motor.

      • Product features

        At present, both at home and abroad use mechanical methods to modulate and demodulate ultra-low frequency signals, so there are sine wave waveforms are not standard, measurement errors are large, high-voltage parts have spark discharge, equipment is bulky, and sine wave two or four quadrants also need high-power high-voltage resistance to discharge shaping, so the overall power consumption of the equipment is large. This product can overcome such shortcomings, and has the following characteristics:

        1. Ultra-low frequency with rated voltage less than or equal to 50 kV adopts single-connection structure (one booster); Ultra-low frequency with rated voltage greater than 50 kV adopts series structure (two boosters in series), which greatly reduces the overall weight and enhances the carrying capacity, and two boosters can be used as ultra-low frequency with low voltage grade separately.

        2. Current, voltage and waveform data are directly sampled from the high-voltage side, so the data is accurate.

        3. It has the function of over-voltage protection. When the output exceeds the set limit, the instrument will stop to protect, and the operation time is less than 20 ms.

        4. It has over-current protection function: designed for double protection of high and low voltage, high-voltage side can be precisely shutdown protection according to the set value; low-voltage side will be shutdown protection when the current exceeds the rated current, and the operation time is less than 20 ms.

        5. The high-voltage output protection resistance is designed in the booster body, so there is no need for additional protection resistance outside.

        6. Because of the high and low voltage closed-loop negative feedback control circuit, the output has no Capacity-Lift effect.
