HYG-TBP40 over-voltage protector tester is widely used to test power frequency discharge voltage of various electrical equipment, especially for zinc oxide over-voltage protector with gap (also known as lightning arrester or TBP). The tester uses a new special circuit to monitor the test voltage waveform, collects the discharge pulse signal of current circuit, automatically judges the gap discharge, locks the peak value of the instantaneous voltage, and sends out sound alarm signal to prompt the tester, and quickly cuts off the test power supply to protect the test product and test equipment from over-current damage. The tester integrates power supply, measurement and control system of power frequency and high voltage. It is concentrated in an aluminium alloy box. It is small in size, light in weight, shock-proof and fall-proof, simple in operation and easy to carry.

1. The instrument monitors the discharge current by waveform detection and Fourier transform. When the discharge current is monitored, the current high voltage is recorded immediately and the high voltage power supply is cut off within 0.2s. The test result has high precision and is easy to realize automatic measurement.
