HYG-801 automatic kinematic viscosimeter is a special measuring instrument designed and manufactured according to the national standard "GB265-88 method for measuring kinematic viscosities of petroleum products". It is suitable for measuring the kinematic viscosities of liquid petroleum products. This instrument has the final result of automatically calculating the kinematic viscosity by timing the sample movement time. This method is suitable for the determination of kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (i.e. Newtonian liquids) in units of m2/s. It is usually used in practice as mm2/s. The dynamic viscosity can be obtained by multiplying the measured kinetic viscosity by the density of the liquid. This method is to measure the time when a certain volume of liquid flows through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer under gravity at a constant temperature. The product of the capillary constant of the viscometer and the flowing time is to measure the kinematic viscosity of the liquid at that temperature. The product of the kinetic viscosity at this temperature and the density of the liquid at the same temperature is the dynamic viscosity at that temperature.
