        Gas chromatography is a technique for separation and analysis of multicomponent mixtures. It mainly uses the difference of boiling point, polarity and adsorption coefficient of each component in the sample in the chromatographic column to separate each component in the chromatographic column, and carries out qualitative and quantitative analysis of the separated components.



        Gas is used as mobile phase (carrier gas) in gas chromatography. When the sample is fed into the sampler and gasified, the carrier gas is carried into the packed column or capillary column. Because of the difference of boiling point, polarity and adsorption coefficient of each component in the sample, the components are separated in the column. Then the components are detected in sequence by the detector connected to the column according to their physical and chemical characteristics. Finally, the converted electrical signals are sent to the chromatographic workstation, which records and analyses the gas chromatogram of each component, and then obtains the analysis results of each component. The schematic diagram of its working principle is as follows:



        Because of its high separation efficiency, fast analysis speed and low sample consumption, the method has been widely used in petrochemical industry, biochemistry, medical and health, health quarantine, food inspection, environmental protection, food industry, medical and clinical departments. In these fields, gas chromatography has solved the problems of quality inspection, scientific research, pollution detection and production control of industrial intermediates and industrial products.

The instrument adopts the latest highly integrated industrial chip, bus technology, Ethernet and data processing technology, optimizes the temperature control program and gas path control, and fundamentally improves the reliability and maintainability of the instrument.



        HYG series gas chromatograph has the following functions and characteristics (some functions need special workstations):



        1. The advanced 10/100M self-adapting Ethernet communication interface and IP protocol stack are adopted to make the instrument realize long-distance data transmission easily through intranet and internet, which facilitates the establishment of laboratory, simplifies the configuration of laboratory and facilitates the management of analytical data.



        2. The internal design of the instrument consists of three independent linking processes, which can be connected to local processing (laboratory site), unit supervisors (such as quality control section chief, production plant director, etc.), and superior supervisors (such as EPA, Technical Supervision bureau, etc.). It is convenient for unit supervisors and superior supervisors to monitor the operation of the instrument and analyze the data results in real time.



        3. NetChromTM workstation can support multi-chromatograph at the same time, realize data processing and control, simplify document management, and minimize user's laboratory investment and operating costs.



        4. The system has Chinese and English operating systems, users can switch on their own according to their needs.



        5. Temperature control area can be named freely by users, which is convenient for users to use.



        6. The instrument works in parallel with multi-processors, which makes it more stable and reliable. It can satisfy the needs of complex sample analysis. A variety of high performance detectors, such as FID, TCD, ECD, FPD and NPD, can be installed at most four detectors at the same time. Detector addition method can also be used. After the instrument is purchased, other detectors can be easily selected and installed.



        7. The instrument adopts modular structure, has clear design, convenient replacement and upgrading, and protects the effectiveness of investment.



        8. New microcomputer temperature control system has high temperature control precision, high reliability and excellent anti-interference performance; it has six completely independent temperature control systems, which can realize sixteenth-order program heating, so that the equipment can be competent for a wider range of sample analysis; and it has post-box automatic rear door opening system, which improves the precision of low temperature control and increases/decreases the temperature faster.



        9. Advanced Electronic Flow Controller (EFC) and Electronic Pressure Controller (EPC) can be selected to realize digital control, which can greatly improve the reproducibility of qualitative and quantitative results.



        10. The instrument design timing self-starting program can easily complete the on-line analysis of gas samples (with on-line automatic sampling components).



        11. The operation system of keyboard controlled by computer is simple and convenient, and the automatic identification technology of detector is designed. It has the function of fault diagnosis and data protection of power failure, and can automatically memorize setting parameters.



        12. The instrument has built-in 24-bit AD circuit with low noise and high resolution, and has the functions of baseline storage and baseline deduction.



        Collect chromatographic signals and data processing, suitable for Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 7 and other operating systems. Sampling data are read from CDF files that meet the A/A (American Analytical Association) standard, so they can be connected with chromatographic workstations such as Agilent and Waters.



        13. The chromatographic system with completely independent intellectual property rights and standard interface of MODBUS/TCP can be easily docked with DCS.



        14. The instrument can be docked with automatic samplers manufactured by many manufacturers at home and abroad, such as AOC-20i of Shimadzu, HTA series of high-speed liquid and gas automatic samplers of Italian HTA Company, etc.
