Insulation boots and gloves are necessary safety protective devices for power system operation and maintenance. DL408 "Electrical Safety Work Regulations" prescribes the test method and cycle of common safety tools such as insulation boots and gloves. The voltage withstanding test of insulating boots and gloves lasts for half a year. Breakdown is not allowed during the test, and the leakage current of insulating boots is not more than the limit value.

Voltage leakage current test of insulated boot gloves belongs to high-voltage test. The test voltage reaches more than 20,000 volts. During the test process, the test sample and electrodes need to be placed. When high-voltage test is carried out, the test sample will produce strong discharge, so there is a great danger. In order to ensure the safety of the test, avoid flashover during the test process, eject water electrodes or test residues from the test bench and cause personal injury to the test personnel, we developed a fully enclosed insulated boot gloves voltage leakage current test bench.

The test bench is enclosed by acrylic transparent insulating cover. When the test product is replaced, the insulating cover is lifted automatically. When the test product is replaced, the insulating cover drops and the test product and the high-voltage measuring system are enclosed.

This test-bed adopts multi-channel high-voltage leakage measurement technology, which can accurately measure multi-channel high-voltage leakage current. With the use of wireless communication interface and wireless data communication technology, the HYG1800 fully automatic insulated boot glove voltage leakage current tester produced by our company is completely isolated from the tester to achieve the purpose of safe measurement of high-voltage leakage current.

In order to improve work efficiency, 8 samples can be tested at the same time. In order to avoid repetitive test, the patented technology of high-pressure interruption is adopted. During the test process, the breakdown samples can be separated from the high-pressure test system, and the non-breakdown samples can continue to be tested until the test is completed.

The test bench is enclosed by acrylic transparent insulating cover, avoiding flashover during the test process, ejecting water, arc and test residue from the test bench, causing personal injury to the test personnel and polluting the laboratory floor.

Transparent insulating cover can be automatically lifted by motor mechanism, which is convenient for the replacement of test products, but it can not be lifted during the test process.

At the same time, eight insulating boots, insulating caps and insulating gloves were tested to measure the leakage current.

Each test sample has a high-voltage breaking mechanism. When any road breaks down, the test sample will automatically break away from the high-voltage without affecting the test.

The test bench has two working modes: dry test and wet test. The test bench is equipped with an electric water injection gun, which is convenient for water injection operation. When dry test, steel balls can be used as high voltage electrodes for insulating boots.

The test bench adopts multi-channel high-voltage leakage measurement technology and infrared data communication technology to achieve the purpose of safe measurement of high-voltage leakage current. Through the application of this technology, the tester is completely isolated from the high-voltage system, which can not only accurately measure the multi-channel high-voltage leakage current, but also ensure the personal safety of the tester.

The test transformer is installed in the test bed and the high voltage transformer is sealed with full insulation safety cover, which has the function of over-current protection.

The test system is controlled by a 19-inch standard cabinet. The cabinet is composed of an automatic controller, an electric voltage regulator and an industrial control computer. The automatic test process can be directly controlled by the controller, and the whole test process can be completed by the computer.

When controlled by computer, the boost curve and leakage current change curve of 8 test pieces can be recorded automatically.

The test report can be automatically generated and qualified judgement can be made when the test is completed.
